The urn’s oval shape is accomplished with skillful lathe turning, resulting in smooth contours from base to rim. Cherry wood, known for its lighter tone and reddish hue, is primarily sourced from the Appalachian Mountains, with occasional use of exotic woods from South America and Europe.

Unlike factory-made urns, each segment is individually and purposefully assembled to highlight the wood’s natural beauty and subtle variations in color and grain.
