Here is all our legal mumbo jumbo. The gist of it is this:

Terms of Service: We provide the best products content we can in order to help you, but we don’t claim to be infallible and we ask that you use your judgement regarding the products, resources, and content we provide.
Cookies: This site displays ads, and in order to serve high-quality and relevant advertisements some of our advertisers collect info from your visit. Also, if you sign up for our email list, your email is 100% private and never shared with anyone else. See our privacy policy page for more information.
Disclosures: We also have affiliate relationships with other businesses, primarily Urns Northwest (our parent site), along with other online retailers and service providers. This means we may get a commission (at no cost to you) if you were to purchase something after seeing it on our website.

1. AGREEMENT ACCEPTANCE. By accessing or using the US Urns Online website located at www.usurnsonline.com (referred to as the “Website”) and its associated services and software available through the Website (collectively referred to as the “Service”), you are agreeing to comply with the following terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement. The Service, owned and operated by US Urns Online, is provided to you under the condition of your acceptance of all terms and conditions stated herein, as well as any additional operating rules, policies, and procedures that may be published on the Website by US Urns Online, subject to modification. If you do not agree with any of the terms or conditions in this Agreement, refrain from using or accessing the Service and exit immediately. This Agreement pertains to all users of the Service, including sellers (“Seller”), buyers (“Buyer”), or any other user, collectively referred to as “Users”. Throughout this Agreement, Users may be addressed as “you”, “your”, and/or “yours”.

2. CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE. US Urns Online retains the exclusive right, at its sole discretion, to amend any terms or conditions outlined in this Agreement at any given time. Such modifications will be made by posting the revised Agreement on the Website, along with the effective date, and by sending notification via email. Your ongoing use of the Service subsequent to receiving email notification signifies your acceptance of the revised Agreement. If you find any of these modifications unacceptable, your only recourse is to discontinue accessing or using the Service.

3. SERVICE ALTERATIONS, SUSPENSION, OR TERMINATION. US Urns Online reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to alter, suspend, or terminate the Service or any aspect of it, either temporarily or permanently, at any time and without prior notice. US Urns Online will not be obligated to provide you with a refund, except for prepaid, unused subscription fees. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that US Urns Online shall not be held liable to you or any third party for any modifications, suspensions, or discontinuations of the Service.

4. ABOUT US URNS ONLINE. US Urns Online functions as an ecommerce platform enabling individuals to buy and sell cremation urns and memorials. While US Urns Online takes measures to ensure that items listed on the Website are either crafted in the USA or prominently display their foreign place of manufacture, it does not directly facilitate transactions between Users. Therefore, US Urns Online does not transfer legal ownership of goods between Users, nor does it control the quality, safety, morality, or legality of any items sold through the Service. Additionally, US Urns Online cannot verify the accuracy of listings, the capability of Sellers to sell goods, or the ability of Buyers to pay for goods. Although US Urns Online conducts interviews and research on each Seller to assess alignment with its values and mission, it does not comprehensively pre-screen Users or the goods they offer for sale. Furthermore, US Urns Online cannot guarantee the true identity, age, or nationality of any User, nor ensure the completion of transactions between Buyers and Sellers. Consequently, Users utilize the Service at their own risk. By accessing and/or using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that US Urns Online bears no responsibility or liability, and you release US Urns Online from any such liability, for any Content uploaded by Users or for goods sold through the Service. US Urns Online encourages direct communication between Users via the Website’s available tools and suggests considering third-party escrow services or additional User verification services as an option.

5. YOUR SERVICE USAGE. You agree to utilize the Service solely for purposes permitted by this Agreement and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and rules, both domestic and foreign. Specifically, you agree to: (a) provide accurate, current, and complete information as prompted by the Service’s registration form (referred to as the “Registration Data”), and (b) ensure the Registration Data remains accurate, current, and complete by promptly updating it as necessary. Should you provide information that is untrue, inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete, or if US Urns Online has reasonable grounds to suspect such inaccuracies, US Urns Online reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account. In the event that US Urns Online, at its sole discretion, determines or suspects your misuse or attempted misuse of the Service, or if you engage or attempt to engage in inappropriate, infringing, illegal, or fraudulent activities using the Service, US Urns Online reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate your access to the Service without prior notice. US Urns Online may also initiate legal actions or proceedings to pursue remedies and/or damages, including but not limited to lost revenue, repairs, legal fees, costs and expenses, and may seek injunctions and other equitable remedies.

6. AGE OF MAJORITY. To register for an account and/or use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction if it is older than 18. The Service and Website are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age.

7. ACCOUNT, PASSWORD, AND SECURITY. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, as well as for limiting access to your device. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your password or account or any security breach, you agree to notify US Urns Online immediately. It is your responsibility to log out of your account at the end of each session. US Urns Online bears no responsibility or liability for fraudulent purchases made using compromised account information. Additionally, US Urns Online will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or other consequences resulting from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your account and password or to restrict access to your device.

US Urns Online employs commercially reasonable security measures to safeguard against loss, misuse, and alteration of information under our control, including credit card details submitted to US Urns Online. Our Website utilizes secure server software (SSL) to encrypt all input information before transmission. While we strive to maintain robust security measures, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never circumvent these protections. Although we regularly update and test our technology to enhance customer information security, we do not warrant the absolute effectiveness of these security measures. Consequently, US Urns Online disclaims any liability for actual or consequential damages resulting from a security breach.

8. USER CONDUCT. You acknowledge that you are responsible for all Content, in any form, that you provide or make available through the Service, including to other Users. You agree not to use the Service to:

Upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise share any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable, or that may harm any Users or third parties in any manner;
Impersonate any person or entity, including but not limited to, a representative of US Urns Online or a forum leader, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
Forge headers or manipulate identifiers to conceal the origin of any Content transmitted through the Service;
Share any Content for which you do not have the legal right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships, including confidential information obtained through employment relationships or nondisclosure agreements;
Share any Content that infringes upon any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any person or entity;
Share unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of solicitation, except in areas specifically designated for such purposes and within the defined scope of such designation;
Share Content containing software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to disrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment;
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service, or violate any requirements, procedures, policies, or regulations of networks connected to the Service;
Intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable laws or regulations, including but not limited to regulations set forth by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, rules of national or other securities exchanges, and laws and regulations concerning the sale or resale of goods;
Engage in stalking or harassment of any person or entity.

9. CONTENT MONITORING. You acknowledge that US Urns Online does not pre-screen any Content provided by Users in connection with the Service. However, US Urns Online reserves the right (but not the obligation), at its sole discretion, to:

(i) Monitor, alter, edit, or remove any of your Content, wholly or partially, or
(ii) Suspend and/or terminate your access to the Service for any reason or no reason at all.

You understand and agree that US Urns Online may retain your Content and disclose it if necessary, including but not limited to cases where required by law or in good faith belief that such actions are reasonably necessary to:

(a) Comply with legal processes;
(b) Enforce this Agreement;
(c) Respond to claims of Content violating third-party rights; or
(d) Safeguard the rights, property, or safety of US Urns Online, its Users, and/or the public.

You acknowledge that the technical processing and transmission of the Service, including your Content, may involve:

(i) Transmission over various networks; and
(ii) Adaptations to conform to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.

10. SOFTWARE AND DIGITAL CONTENT USAGE. You agree not to, directly or indirectly:

(i) Modify or create derivatives of any part of the Service;
(ii) Attempt to discover the source code, structure, sequence, or organization of any part of the Service by reverse engineering, disassembling, decompiling, or similar methods, except where such actions are prohibited by applicable local law;
(iii) Rent, lease, resell, distribute, or use the Service for commercial purposes, except for the limited purpose of selling products as a Seller through the Service;
(iv) Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Service; or
(v) Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service.

If you are permitted to download any software in connection with the Service (“Software”), US Urns Online grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable, terminable, nonexclusive license to use the Software solely for personal use and in accordance with this Agreement and any written instructions provided by US Urns Online. It is understood that the Software is considered part of the “Service”.

11. USER REVIEWS AND RATINGS. US Urns Online retains the right, though not the obligation, to decline posting or to remove any user review or rating if deemed by US Urns Online (at its sole discretion) to contain:

(a) Offensive, harmful, or abusive language, including but not limited to expletives, profanities, obscenities, harassment, vulgarities, sexually explicit language, or hate speech (e.g., racist or discriminatory speech);
(b) References to illegal activities;
(c) Reviews lacking qualitative value or not addressing the goods;
(d) Language violating US Urns Online’s standards of good taste;
(e) Information or statements that are false or appear to be so; or
(h) Comments disparaging US Urns Online.

User ratings and reviews express the opinions of individuals and do not represent the views of US Urns Online, its affiliated companies, employees, officers, directors, or shareholders. US Urns Online bears no responsibility or liability for any review or rating, and hereby disclaims any and all associated liability, releasing US Urns Online from any claims related to ratings and reviews.

12. PAYMENT PROCEDURES. All payments are processed through third-party payment service providers (collectively referred to as “Payment Facilitators”). When utilizing Payment Facilitators, Users must adhere to the respective terms of use established by these providers. US Urns Online maintains no affiliation with, nor agency or other relationship to, these Payment Facilitators. Consequently, US Urns Online assumes no responsibility for the actions or omissions of Payment Facilitators and hereby disclaims any liability associated with them. By using the Service, you release US Urns Online from any claims arising from the acts or omissions of Payment Facilitators.

13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES. If you integrate any third-party services with the Service, you are subject to the respective terms of use governing those services. US Urns Online maintains no affiliation with, nor agency or employment relationship to, such third-party services. Therefore, US Urns Online assumes no responsibility for the actions or omissions of these services and hereby disclaims any associated liability. By using the Service, you release US Urns Online from any claims arising from the acts or omissions of third-party services.

14. SELLER SERVICE FEES. US Urns Online may impose subscription fees on Sellers for selling products on the Website. Additionally, Sellers are charged a percentage of the sale price for each product sold. Any changes to these fees are effective after US Urns Online provides Sellers with at least fourteen (14) days’ notice via email. However, US Urns Online reserves the right to temporarily adjust fees for promotional events, such as discount days, with changes taking effect upon posting on the Website. US Urns Online retains the sole discretion to modify some or all of its services at any time. If a new service is introduced, the associated fees become effective upon the service’s launch. Unless otherwise specified, all fees are denoted in US Dollars (USD). Sellers are required to maintain valid credit card and/or bank information on file with US Urns Online to facilitate revenue distribution minus applicable fees. Sellers are responsible for all service charges incurred, even for goods sold that are later canceled by the Buyer or refunded by the Seller.

15. SELLER TAX OBLIGATIONS. Sellers are accountable for all taxes linked to the sale of products via the Service and agree to indemnify US Urns Online against any associated tax liabilities. US Urns Online retains the right to withhold payment of owed amounts if it suspects or determines that such funds have been generated:

(a) Fraudulently;
(b) In contravention of this Agreement; or,
(c) In violation of any relevant laws, rules, or regulations (domestic or foreign).

The withholding may be temporary or permanent, at the discretion of US Urns Online.

16. US URNS ONLINE CONTENT. You acknowledge that all materials, including but not limited to information, data, software, text, design elements, graphics, images, and other content (collectively referred to as “Content”) provided via the Service or made accessible by US Urns Online on the Website (collectively referred to as “Website Content”), are protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade secrets, or other intellectual property and proprietary rights and laws. US Urns Online may either own the Website Content outright or have acquired portions of it through agreements with third parties. Unless expressly authorized in writing by US Urns Online, you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit, or create derivative works of any Website Content; post any Website Content on any other website or in a networked computer environment for any purpose.

However, you may print or download a reasonable number of copies of the Website Content for your personal informational use, provided you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices. Reproducing, copying, or distributing any Website Content for any other purpose is strictly prohibited without the express prior written permission of US Urns Online. You are permitted to use the Website Content only for purposes allowed by this Agreement and applicable laws and regulations (both foreign and domestic). Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

17. TRADEMARK USAGE. The trademarks, service marks, and logos associated with US Urns Online (referred to as the “US Urns Online Trademarks”) utilized and showcased in connection with the Service are the property of US Urns Online. Additionally, trademarks, trade names, or service marks used in connection with the Service that are not US Urns Online Trademarks (referred to as the “Third Party Trademarks”) may be owned by third parties. Third Party Trademarks and US Urns Online Trademarks are collectively referred to as “Trademarks.”

Nothing within this Agreement, nor your utilization of the Service, shall constitute or imply, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to utilize any Trademark without the prior written consent of US Urns Online, specifically obtained for each such usage. You also agree not to use any Trademark in a manner that may disparage US Urns Online, the Service, or any third party, their products, or services, in a manner that, in the sole and exclusive judgment of US Urns Online, may harm the goodwill associated with the Trademarks.

Furthermore, incorporating any Trademarks into links to or from any site is prohibited unless US Urns Online grants prior written consent for the establishment of such links. Any goodwill generated through the use of any Trademark shall accrue to the benefit of the owner of that Trademark.

18. USER-GENERATED CONTENT. By contributing, providing, or making available any Content through the Service, whether as a Seller, Buyer, or in any other capacity, you acknowledge and agree to grant US Urns Online a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable (through multiple tiers) right to exercise the copyright, publicity, and database rights (but no other rights) you possess in the Content, across any media now known or not yet known, concerning your Content. You consent to US Urns Online’s ability to store, translate, or reformat your Content on US Urns Online and display it on US Urns Online’s platform in any manner chosen by US Urns Online, without compensation to you or any other provider of your Content.

You affirm and warrant that you possess all the requisite rights, power, and authority necessary to grant the aforementioned license, and that all your Content:

(a) Does not infringe upon, violate, misappropriate, or otherwise conflict with the rights of any third party, and
(b) Complies with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations (both foreign and domestic).

US Urns Online reserves the right to remove any of your Content from the Service at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to, upon receipt of claims or allegations from third parties or authorities relating to your Content, or without stating any reason at all.

19. THE DIGITAL MILLENNIUM COPYRIGHT ACT (DMCA) POLICY. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the “DMCA”) offers recourse for copyright owners who believe that material appearing on the Internet infringes their rights under U.S. copyright law. In accordance with the DMCA and other relevant laws, US Urns Online may, at its sole discretion, limit access to the Service and/or terminate the accounts of individuals who infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

Owners of copyrighted works who believe that their rights under copyright law have been violated may utilize certain provisions of the DMCA to report alleged infringements. If you believe that your work has been copied, posted, or made accessible through the Service in a manner that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide US Urns Online’s designated agent (as specified below) with the following information:

An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or the individual authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
A description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property claimed to have been infringed, including the URL or specific location within the Service where the infringing material is located. Sufficient information should be provided to enable US Urns Online to locate the material;
Your address, telephone number, and email address;
A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, asserting that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright or intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law; and
A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, confirming that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright or intellectual property owner.

20. SUBDOMAIN USAGE. As a Seller using the Service, US Urns Online may grant you the privilege of utilizing a subdomain within the Website (e.g., usurnsonline.com/[subdomain]). It is important to note that all such subdomains remain the exclusive property of US Urns Online. In the event that US Urns Online furnishes you with a subdomain, your entitlement to use said subdomain may be revoked by US Urns Online at any time, with or without prior notice, for any reason or without providing any reason at all.

21. INDEMNIFICATION. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless US Urns Online, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, agents, co-branders, and other partners from and against any and all damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ and accounting fees) arising from any claim, demand, suit, or proceeding made by any third party (“Claim”) due to, arising out of, or in any way related to:

(a) Your Content;
(b) Your use of, contribution to, or connection with the Service (including the Referral Software);
(c) Your violation of this Agreement; and
(d) Your infringement upon the rights of another person or organization.

US Urns Online will notify you of any such Claim. US Urns Online reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification under this Section. In such cases, you agree to cooperate with all reasonable requests to assist US Urns Online in defending such matters.

22. TERMINATION. US Urns Online reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Service and to remove or delete any of your Content within the Service, for any reason or without providing a reason, including, but not limited to, lack of use, failure to timely pay any fees or other amounts owed to US Urns Online, or if US Urns Online believes, in its sole and exclusive discretion, that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the terms of this Agreement. You acknowledge that termination of your access to the Service may occur without prior notice. Furthermore, you agree that US Urns Online shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to or use of the Service. All provisions of this Agreement that, by their nature, should survive termination of your access to the Service shall survive, including, but not limited to, limitations on liability, releases, indemnification obligations, disclaimers of warranties, and intellectual property protections.

23. LINKS. The Service may contain links to other Internet websites or resources, which may be provided by US Urns Online or third parties. Since US Urns Online lacks control over such websites and resources, you acknowledge and agree that US Urns Online bears no responsibility for the availability of such websites or resources. Additionally, US Urns Online does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products, services, or other materials found on or made available through such websites or resources. You further acknowledge and agree that US Urns Online shall not be held responsible or liable for any damage or loss, whether actual or alleged, arising from or in connection with any use of or reliance on any such content, advertising, products, services, or other materials available on or through any such website or resource.

Sellers may not link to or direct US Urns Online users, whether via telephone or any form of electronic or in-person communication, to another website to capture a sale. All purchases resulting from inquiries obtained through association with US Urns Online must be transacted through usurnsonline.com.

24. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. US URNS ONLINE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS, AND YOU RELEASE US URNS ONLINE FROM, ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. US URNS ONLINE MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT: (i) THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS; (ii) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (iii) THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE; (iv) THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL PURCHASED OR OBTAINED BY YOU THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS; OR (v) ANY ERRORS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED. THE FOREGOING DISCLAIMERS SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW. However, you may report any misconduct of Users in connection with the Website or the Service to US Urns Online, and US Urns Online may, at its sole discretion, investigate the claim and take necessary action.

25. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. US URNS ONLINE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY WITH RESPECT TO THE WEBSITE, SERVICE, OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT, FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF US URNS ONLINE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, AMOUNTS IN THE AGGREGATE IN EXCESS OF US$100.00, OR ANY MATTERS BEYOND US URNS ONLINE’S REASONABLE CONTROL. US URNS ONLINE SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO ANY OF YOUR CONTENT OR ANY CONTENT OF ANY OTHER USER OF THE SERVICE. THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

26. RELEASE. IF YOU HAVE A DISPUTE WITH ONE OR MORE USERS, YOU HEREBY RELEASE US URNS ONLINE (AND OUR AFFILIATES, AND OUR AND THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, JOINT VENTURES, AND PARTNERS) FROM ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, AND DAMAGES (ACTUAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL) OF EVERY KIND AND NATURE, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH SUCH DISPUTES. IF YOU ARE A CALIFORNIA RESIDENT, YOU WAIVE CALIFORNIA CIVIL CODE 1542, WHICH SAYS: “A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS WHICH THE CREDITOR DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH IF KNOWN BY HIM MUST HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR.”

27. PRIVACY. Your information provided or collected by US Urns Online within the Service follows our Privacy Policy at https://usurnsonline.com/privacy-policy/. Any data you share may be publicly accessible. Protect your sensitive data as US Urns Online does not safeguard it, nor is responsible for the privacy of transmitted information. Be cautious about disclosing personal details as they may become public. US Urns Online shall not be responsible for protecting any such information and is not liable for the protection of privacy of electronic mail or other information transferred through the Internet or any other network that you may use. Please be aware that if you decide to disclose personally identifiable information on the Service, this information may be made public. US Urns Online does not control and therefore shall not be responsible for your acts or the acts of any other users of the Service.
