Vendor Resources: Seller Agreement

Our Seller Agreement or Vendor Agreement is a document we will send you upon a successful application to our platform.

The document itself is full of legalese, and we may need to occasionally update it (if we do, we’ll let you know).

But we want you to have a clear view of what to expect, so here is a common sense summary of our marketplace terms.

You Agree To

Represent products accurately to customers
Only sell products that are made in the USA
Make and ship your products to customers in the timeframe you describe
Provide stellar customer service and stand behind your products – if you make a mistake, make it right
Honor our return policy – if a customer doesn’t like it, they can return non-personalized items
Sell products with basic Free Shipping in the continental US (factor the cost of shipping into your prices!)
Purchase shipping labels (using funds paid by the customer) for Expedited or International shipping orders through our platform
Figure out what taxes you are required to collect and let us know
Not try to take customers off our site to avoid commission fees
Honor any site-wide sales or coupons we offer, from 5-10% (FYI, you’re free to offer coupon codes for your own products with greater discounts if desired)
Let us use your product photos and videos for advertising or illustration on our website and in marketing (for example, Facebook ads)

Curate an amazing marketplace, which means we may sometimes reject vendors or products that do not meet our standards
Maintain the website and handle all transactions, including transaction fees
Provide reasonable tax collection options based on the instructions you provide (and pass those funds on to you for payment to your tax authorities)
Deduct a commission of 15% from the price of each sale
Pay you in a timely manner (with Stripe Connect it’s all automatic)
Reserve the right to make changes to our agreement with 30 days notice
Provide general customer service and marketing
